I will give you some tips to help you survive the cold temperatures and feeling pooly.

It was always hard for me to go and see the doctors, so for years I have ceated my own list of tips to feel stronger in these cold months.

Doctors aren’t my best friend (long story) but please make sure to see one if you need it!

A cold:

So before going to sleep, in my hand I put some oil (almond, jojoba…) and 3 to 5 drops of Eucalyptus Radiata (organic). Then I gently massage my cheast.

Sore throat:

This one is from my mum, you have no idea how often I complained about this one. Smell bad and taste disgusting but I have to say it’s so efficient!

After those last sentences, I’m sure you ca’nt wait to read the recipes!!

Onions sirup (yep yep, that’s what it is):

recette de grand mère pour les maux de gorge

  • chop an onion, put it in a bowl
  • add one spoon of honey (or sugar), mix
  • wait one night (better to cover the bowl, if not a nice perfume of onion would wait for you in the morning)

In the morning you will find a syrup in the bowl. One spoon at a time, don’t breath when you eat it! The syrup will only last one day.

To boost:

2 ways:

1. Lemon essential oil:

huile essentielle au citron pour se booster tout lhiver

2 drops of lemon essential oil on a sugar, a neutral pill or with one teaspoon of honey (this one is my favorite).

Before breafast is better, 2 weeks max. Amazing to boost the immune system.

Not for children. Ask to a profesionnal is you have any doubt.

2. Golden milk:

This one is so amazing! Once I felt so miserable and exhausted, so I drunk 2 mugs during the day and I felt already better.

The recipe:

  • 1/2 mug of  vegan milk
  • 1/2 mug of water
  • 1 teaspoon of curcuma
  • 1 teaspoon of cinannon
  • 1 pinch of ginger
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

Mix everything in a saucepan, cook over low heat, from the first shudder, it’s done.

The perfect drink to enjoy, wrapped in a blanket!
